Owner-operated. NAPIT registered. No call centres — you speak directly to Greg, the electrician who'll be doing the work. Serving Bristol and South Gloucestershire since 2020.
Bristol has a huge stock of Victorian and Edwardian terraces — Clifton, Redland, Bedminster, Bishopston — many of which have never had a full rewire. Pre-1970s rubber and fabric-covered wiring is common. Unearther systems, old-style rewireable fuses, and installations that predate modern ring main standards are everyday jobs for us.
More recently, the growth areas of Bradley Stoke, Emersons Green, and the new Yate developments bring a different set of requirements — EV charger installations, smart home circuits, and landlord EICR certificates for HMO conversions as properties change hands.
Greg also has a background in property development, which means electrical advice is always given in the context of what it means for your property — whether you're buying, selling, letting, or renovating.

Live Line Electrical is owner-operated. Greg Piskozub is not a manager or a coordinator — he is the electrician. He visits your property, he prices the job, and he carries out the work. There is no chain of subcontractors, no call centre, and no situation where the person who gave you a quote isn't the person who turns up.
With over 15 years of hands-on electrical experience and a background in property development, Greg understands electrical work in the full context of what it means for your home or investment — not just the technical spec.

Yes. NAPIT registration means every notifiable job is certified under BS 7671, notified to the local authority under Part P of the Building Regulations, and you receive a completion certificate. This is the recognised competent-person scheme for electricians in England.
All Bristol postcodes: BS1–BS16, BS32–BS37, and BS80. This covers the city centre, Clifton, Redland, Bishopston, Kingswood, Bedminster, Brislington, Filton, Bradley Stoke, Emersons Green, and all South Gloucestershire towns including Yate, Thornbury, Chipping Sodbury, and Frampton Cotterell.
Minor work like changing a light fitting or replacing a socket in an existing position may be DIY-eligible, though you should be confident in your abilities. However, any new circuit, work in a kitchen or bathroom, consumer unit replacement, or outdoor installation is notifiable under Part P and must be carried out by a registered competent person. Getting it wrong can affect your home insurance and create issues when selling.
We provide a written report classifying any defects as C1 (danger present — immediate action), C2 (potentially dangerous — urgent action) or C3 (improvement recommended). A satisfactory EICR has no C1 or C2 codes. For landlord compliance, you need a satisfactory report or evidence that all C1 and C2 remedial work has been completed. We can carry out remedial work following the inspection.
For genuine electrical emergencies (no power, burning smells, sparking, shock incidents) we provide a 24/7 call-out — call at any time. For non-emergency work, contact us and we'll discuss scheduling. We don't overbook — every job gets the time it needs.
Yes. Commercial EICRs are a core service — offices, retail units, HMOs, schools, restaurants, hotels and leisure facilities. For larger commercial installations, call to discuss the scope of the project.
